Moses

painted by: John Everett Millais

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to-morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand. So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; And his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Exodus 17:9-12

We all go through trials and valleys. How do we realistically "hold up" one another during these times?

Well my dear friend, you do just what they did...you fight for them. Aaron and Hur fought in keeping the hands of Moses raised. Although your fight may not literally be keeping hands raised, your fight is with the Evil one. Your weapons of war are PRAYER. You pray over them, with them, for them. I have found, in recent times, that some of the greatest fights are fought with the words to our Heavenly Father...prayer is a MIGHTY thing!

But also, and just as crucial, you comfort, you encourage and you listen. Sometimes, especially as women, we need someone just to listen to us and speak literal BIBLICAL TRUTH to us!

Having your brothers and sisters fight with (and for) you is one of the greatest benefits we have in the Kingdom, and the Fathers knows exactly what we need to fight our battles, so do not ever be afraid to ask Him for the weapons!

I love you kiddo!
